Another year went by - 2010.
A lot happened this year (lot = Anvi).
She's almost taken over our world (both mine n Megha's) and rightly so. With her (and Megha) - I absolutely lose track of time and I know it’s not good to let that happen always ('coz there are so many things to worry abt).
For eg: Did I pay the electricity or gas bill on time? When do I have to take my car for servicing? What about credit card statements, bill payments? What do I want for dinner today? Did I call Mr.XYZ for an doctor’s appointment? And all the other stuff that I would still forget.
I don’t know how Megha keeps track of everything...I’m so bad at that. Probably that's what I need - something to help me remember what I’m supposed to do on a daily basis and an organizer won’t work. I might forget to update that. Any suggestions?
Back to 2010…
I was in India for half the year. The initial months were busy as first time parents. I learned a lot (and made more mistakes) as a father / husband. We couldn’t have survived without Mummy, Choma and Moma (and my parents and everyone else who helped us out with Anvi). And dada – thanks for visiting us. I wish we all (especially Avni) get to spend a lot more time with you in the coming years.
Also went through the usual grind at work which wasn’t that great. Then came to US (Torrance , CA ) in June (and Megha had to travel alone with Anvi).
The 2nd half of the year has gone into settling down in Torrance . It’s not a bad place, but now we need to move to a bigger apartment, so it’s getting too small for us.
I could go on and on about how Anvi talks and walks and smiles and talks a lot more. And she is adorable…so I could go on some more but I’ll leave it for another day.
Also happy that Amit & Minako are parents now. Anvi’s looking forward to play with the baby.
Love to everyone.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year…!!!
PS. Just want to mention one other thing…Joe – thanks for making it fun to come to work everyday. I absolutely love working when you are around.
